Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator for our esteemed client, a member of the Assembly of First Nations situated in Gold River, BC. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees, visitors, contractors, and clients within the organization by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of their Occupational Health & Safety Management System and Transportation Safety Program.

Pay rate: $45,000 - $48,000 / year

Location: Gold River, BC

Shifts: Day

Job type: Full-time | Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the management of fleet vehicles which may include developing and implementing safety protocols specific to vehicle operations, review and track electronic logging device systems for commercial vehicles.

Partner with other Coordinators to approve vehicle usage requests, track vehicle usage, and ensure vehicles are secured in overnight locations.

Track vessel maintenance, assist with vessel inspections and ensure pre-post trip inspections are completed.

Audit safety procedures and protocols directed by the Health and Safety Officer which are implemented by First Nation.

Create, modify e-compliance documentation, check for accuracy and completion.

Assist with monthly inspections, incident investigations and safety meetings as directed by Health and Safety Officer.

Facilitate safety training, maintain safety records, assist with new hire safety orientations.

Determine safety equipment needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Post secondary training in OHS with NCSO designation is an asset.

Minimum 1-2 years\' experience supporting Health and Safety leadership with experience administering fleet management software.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in MS Office programs and technical aptitude

COR Auditing knowledge is preferred

Excellent communication and attention to detail

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
