Miles HR has an exciting opportunity for a strong Administrative Assistant to jump into this highly regarded, well-established wealth management firm. This role requires individuals to have previous, strong calendar management skills, be highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced change.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming and outgoing calls
  • Coordinate business meetings and calendar management
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for board meetings
  • Organize travel arrangements and submit expenses for approval
  • Open and distribute departmental mail, maintain department Intranet site and take meeting minutes
  • Use and maintain various databases
  • Establish rapport with stakeholders
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to consistently meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Handling of confidential documents
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (in particular - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience within the brokerage or financial services industry an asset
