McCarthy Tétrault employees benefit from a hybrid work environment. As a Administrative Assistant, Professional Resources, you will be:

  • Managing and following-up on documentation, entering data, updating various statistical tables and drafting various letters from templates.
  • Organizing the arrivals and departures of students and articling students, paraprofessionals and lawyers, including office preparation and coordination with telephone support, IT, business cards, payroll, etc.
  • Organizing the internal logistics of various meetings and training sessions.
  • Updating the Firm’s website and various information on the Firm’s intranet regarding the Student Program and students.
  • Creating and following-up on evaluation processes via the IT platform used by the firm.
  • Preparing various binder documents and documents to support the Professional Resources group and students/interns.
  • Supporting lawyers and members of the Professional Resources Group and the Regional Student Committee during the recruitment processes, particularly as part of the Course aux stages.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned.
As our ideal candidate, you will have the following profile:
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English).
  • Minimum of three years of office work experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative in task execution.
  • Must be flexible in scheduling and availability during busy periods.
  • Relevant experience in a law firm is an asset.
