We are looking for an individual to fill a critical role of an Administrative Assistant, Human Resources in our Calgary branch. As a part of the HR team, it?s an introductory role to Human Resources, as well as opportunity to be a key partner in managing Calgary branch operations.

Reports to: HR Manager

Shift: 5 x 2; Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day

On-site/remote/hybrid: Always on-site

Location: Calgary, AB

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Responsibilities:
General office management duties:
Reception duties

Safety orientation for new hires and visitors

Maintain security access on premises

Manage mail and courier services

Responsible for the ordering/purchasing and control of all office stationery products

Manage fleet program and traffic tickets

Plan and assist with company training, offsites, conferences

Management of company condo units/leases

HR Administration duties

Onboarding of new hires

Manage drug & alcohol appointments

Assist with letter creation (travel, employment verification, etc..), filing, vacation tracking, reporting and document management

Organize and coordinate company-wide training, benefit roadshows, and other sessions as necessary

Support finance team with bank deposits, invoices, cheques and purchase orders processing

Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Completed high-school diploma; an HR Certificate would be an asset

Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills

Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills post-secondary education in business administration or related field experience considered an asset

Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience with relevant software is an asset but not required: UKG, Kronos/Workforce Central, SuccessFactors, SAP
