We are a growing accounting firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Part-Time Administrative Assistant
to support our team with day-to-day administrative and client service tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and client inquiries
Prepare, format, and organize financial statement and tax returns packages both personal and corporate
Maintain client files (digital and/or paper) and ensure confidentiality
Assist with invoicing and billing.
Support accountants with administrative and bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Weekly management reports.
Set up new clients to the firm.
Other tasks as required
Qualifications
Previous administrative or office experience (accounting or professional services preferred)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, CaseWare, CCH Taxprep etc.) is an asset
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
