ABOUT THE ROLE
TerraCorp Management, located in London, Ontario, is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Maintenance Team to provide administrative support to the maintenance department by managing work orders, scheduling, inventory, and documentation.
As Administrative Assistant- Maintenance you will:
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Capital Projects/Maintenance Coordinator, and other department staff
PO creation/input/change orders from Maintenance and Capex
Expense tracking for Capex projects and invoice reconciliation
Pest control scheduling and data input/reconciliation
Collection and input of data and submission of reports
Appliance tracking
RM lighting and supply ordering (alternating monthly)
Liaise with offsite staff
Preparation of various correspondence
Photocopy, fax, scan documents
Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Post Secondary education in business administration, marketing, or other related studies
Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience
Experience in real estate development industry preferred, but not required
Experience working with a maintenance department preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams and MS Outlook a must
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of work
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Good research skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and able to make decisions with little or no supervision
Professional, calm demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Enthusiastic and team oriented
