Reporting to the Director of IT Shared Services (ITSS) Canada, the incumbent of the IT Administrative Assistant position holds a key position within the IT team. Your responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to SSTI Canada located in Hamilton, Mirabel and Montreal;
- Establish and maintain SSTI Canada operations budget, monthly forecasts, create Excel spreadsheets, compile reports, analyze budget and make recommendations;
- Collaborate with the finance teams in Hamilton, Mirabel and Montreal, as well as the company\'s head office (CHQ);
- Collaborate with the technical team on software license management;
- Communicate with suppliers on commercial matters (payments, administrative issues);
- Manage purchase requisitions and process invoices;
- Create PowerPoint presentations;
- Prepare and send IT department communications in French and English;
- Support IT managers and make recommendations to improve working methods and increase efficiency;
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to optimize reports;
- Review and update IT department SharePoint files;
- Coordinate department business travel, expense claims, timesheets and vacation planner.Qualifications
Your profile:
- College or vocational diploma in administration or office automation with a minimum of five (5) years\' experience in a similar position;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Basic knowledge of accounting;
- Knowledge of SAP or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is an asset;
- Bilingual (French, English) both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of MS-Project and Visio an asset.Summary
