The purpose of the Administrative Assistant role is to coordinate and support the work of the Chief Human Resources Officer and the HR function for Actionmarguerite. The position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will work closely with other members of the HR team and Management Team. The person in this role will also be the first point of contact for front line staff, addressing questions and queries or appropriately re-directing front line staff to other HR team members. The incumbent will provide services to all Actionmarguerite sites and applicable service contracts. Performs all duties in accordance with established health and safety regulations/guidelines, policies and procedures (i.e. utilizing personal, protective equipment as per safe work procedures). Notifies management or supervisor of all occurrences, injuries, illnesses or safety and health concerns which are likely to harm themselves, their co-workers, or any others who enter the premises.
