We have a position to work closely with a portfolio manager downtown Montreal. They are looking for the diamond candidate who will be in for the long run. Someone who isn't afraid to put in the work to see it pay off.

Advantages

  • Salary : 55k - 70k
  • Full time permanent
  • 35 hrs/week
  • Hybrid after probation period (3 days at the office and 3 days at after)
  • Possibility of bonus and insurance plan
Responsibilities
  • Appointment booking (facilitated by a technological tool).
  • Preparation of client files for annual meetings.
  • Execute and follow up on transactions approved by the portfolio manager to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Responsible for incoming telephone and electronic contacts of customers and other internal and external partners.
  • Respond to requests for information.
  • Investigate and resolve account issues.
  • Demonstrate team spirit, efficiency and flexibility to adjust to changing work priorities.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Ensure the general administration of the office.
  • Prepare account openings and transfers and ensure their follow-up
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
  • Various tasks related to the management of customer accounts
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) exam, and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CSM)
  • Post-secondary education.. Dynamic professional with a willingness to learn who shows initiative on upcoming projects and tasks.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an environment that is 95% digital.
  • Ability to handle multiple files at once with very meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel and OneDrive, in particular).
  • Relevant experience in the financial sector or administrative experience.
