Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated

Administrative Assistant

with a strong understanding of architectural or construction documentation. The ideal candidate will support our design and project management teams with daily administrative operations, client coordination, and document control.

Responsibilities



Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the design team. Prepare, organize, and manage project documentation (permit drawings, forms, and correspondence). Communicate with clients, consultants, and municipal departments. Assist in preparing permit applications and maintaining project tracking logs. Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and handle data entry. Support report preparation, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping as needed. Maintain organized electronic filing systems for ongoing and archived projects.

Skills



Diploma or experience in

Architecture, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Administration

. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Familiarity with

AutoCAD, Revit, or architectural drawing formats

is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace. Knowledge of

Ontario Building Code

and municipal permit processes is an advantage. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oshawa, ON L1H 1G5
