Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable.

Duties



Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and responding to inquiries with professionalism Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records Handle filing and organization of documents to ensure easy access to information Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various administrative tasks, including typing reports and correspondence Provide customer support by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, including basic accounting functions using QuickBooks Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements



Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills Experience with data entry and clerical duties Ability to type efficiently with attention to detail for proofreading purposes Familiarity with multi-line phone systems is advantageous Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in bookkeeping is a plus
