A regular day for you will include:
xc2xb7 Review and adjudicate vehicle loan applications by assessing an applicants creditworthiness based on credit history, income and employment, and collateral valuation.
xc2xb7 Ensure loan applications are assessed accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment.
xc2xb7 Detail oriented and able to closely follow credit policy rules to ensure risk parameters are consistently followed.
xc2xb7 Develop and maintain respectful relationships with dealers.
xc2xb7 Willingness to thrive in a customer service focused and teamwork setting working with other departments in Sales, Income, Funding and with our Dealers partners.
xc2xb7 Execute detailed document review ensuring all assigned documents are accurate, complete, properly executed, and registered as required.
xc2xb7 Provide prompt, efficient, detailed customer-oriented service to all stakeholders.
xc2xb7 Perform all other duties as assigned.
Must-haves!
xc2xb7 You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
xc2xb7 You can follow detailed credit policy guidelines and carefully review credit application and credit bureau report details.
xc2xb7 You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail.
xc2xb7 You are tech-savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
xc2xb7 You can collaborate well with various teams and departments.
xc2xb7 You must be available to work all shifts mentioned in the job description.
xc2xb7 Clear criminal reference check
Extra- awesome to have!
xc2xb7 You have at least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting, experience in a financial institution or within the auto industry
xc2xb7 Previous experience working with loan origination software
xc2xb7 Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration
Working condition
xc2xb7 Hours of operation are between 8 AM to 10 PM EST from Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 9 AM to 8 PM EST.
xc2xb7 Option of Permanent Saturday shift with the option of Wednesday or Thursday off; schedules are completed 6 months in advance and our team is very accommodating with switching when required with notice.
xc2xb7 Weekday shifts are primarily set schedules while Saturday start times will be on a rotation (early, mid-day & late shift)
