As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Retail Credit Adjudicator.



The Retail Credit Adjudicator is responsible for the Retail Loans credit adjudication function. This role provides support to staff within the branches of Northern Credit Union for Retail credit policies and procedures. Retail Credit Adjudication is an important member of credit adjudication team and will collaborate with the Sr Manager Retail Credit & Collections to proactively participate in the development, implementation and support of corporate, Retail lending and delivery strategies and objectives. In addition, the Retail Credit Adjudicator will assist in the development of strategies that support Retail credit services business goals, and objectives. Accountable for retail credit adjudication, risk assessments and to ensure risk tolerances have been adhered to.



Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:


Post-secondary education in agriculture accounting, finance, commerce, business administration, or equivalent work experience; CGA, IFIC, CSC, CFP is an asset. Minimum 4 - 6 years progressive experience in managing a diverse portfolio in a retail and/or commercial banking environment, including 1-3 years of Management experience The work requires an understanding of the underlying theoretical principles and concepts associated with the subject area and an understanding of the relation of these to the responsibilities of the job. Proven ability to maintain effective communication, build strong relationships and manage change amongst various stakeholders.

Salary Range:

$64,144 - $76,000
