Mortgage & Loan Adjudicator

As Mortgage & Loan Adjudicator, you are responsible for underwriting mortgages, personal lending and leases; and to interact with retail locations, automotive retailers and non-automotive retailers.

In summary, the Mortgage & Loan Adjudicator will:

Follow established procedures, lending criteria and sound judgment for credit granting. Work in conjunction with the Vice President, Risk and Retail Credit Manager to ensure that conditional loan decisions are completed on a time-sensitive basis. To interact with conditional loan retailers when required. Complete a variety of reports. To complete tasks in an extended hours environment when required. Responsible for adjudication as volumes warrant it. To work with other credit union staff to ensure that objectives of the department are achieved.

The "must-have" skills and qualifications that we're looking for are:

A diploma or degree in Business Administration is required. A minimum of one year lending experience is required. Self-motivated and strong communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs. Ability to work extended hours on a rotating basis as well as occasional Saturdays.
