Welcome to The Actors Room, the go-to Acting Studio for youth and adults in Vaughan, Ontario.

Are you up for the challenge of coaching & mentoring young thespians? The Actors Room might be the right place for you.

We are conveniently located just off Hwy #427 in Vaughan at Langstaff and Hwy 27.

We Are Seeking:

A capable acting coach enthusiastic about instructing intermediate/advanced tweens (ages 11-13).

Location:

71 Innovation Dr., Unit 3
Woodbridge, Vaughan, Ontario

Availability:

Position will require Monday evenings from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, plus weekly prep time as needed. Classes are ongoing from mid-September to early June, with a few weeks off around the holidays.

Class curriculum will be largely provided, with some flexibility for input. Be prepared to instruct a variety of acting activities, such as:

Improvisation Drama games Vocal work/warm ups Theatre fundamentals, including terminology Acting fundamentals, including understanding characters, scenes, arcs, etc... Rehearsals

Ideal Candidate:

A working or aspiring actor, currently invested in building their own acting career Highly familiar with the basics of the craft of acting and the industry as a whole Experience in coaching, particularly youth (please specify experience) Enthusiastic, creative, fun and extremely reliable Comfortable leading a crowd or a small group Should have their own vehicle (or consistent access to one)
