Job Description

The Accuracy Control Specialist is an influencing role providing production support through the analysis and reporting of Accuracy Control data collected throughout the shipbuilding process. In field metrology and dimensional surveying, in support of the Accuracy Control Plan, they will ensure first time dimensional accurate products are being delivered to our customer.



Provides in field support and guidance for unit, block, and mega block assembly to eliminate downstream rework. Analysis of AC data to produce reports and determine process capability. Provides support and guidance for Special installations to ensure first time accuracy on all ITP tolerances.

Post-secondary education in Geomatics or Engineering,

or;

Red Seal Trade with 3+ years of shipbuilding experience,

or;

2+ years dimensional control surveyor experience. Metrology tooling proficiency - Total Station, Precision Level. Spatial Analyzer processing and reporting. Solve problems.
