Mediation Centre Ontario Inc.

is looking for Accredited OAFM or FDRIO Family Mediators to conduct mediation for families going through separation and divorce. As an accredited mediator you will help families reach agreement in all matters including parental decision making, parenting time, financial division, and support. This is a Monday to Friday sub-contractor position that may include additional hours for on-site and off-site court mediation as required. Bilingual in English and French Preferred.

Mediation Centre Ontario Inc. is the service provider for the Ministry of the Attorney General court mediation services in ten court locations: London, St. Thomas, Woodstock, Stratford, Chatham, Sarnia, Windsor, Goderich, Walkerton and Owen Sound.

Responsibilities

Facilitate mediation sessions between parties to resolve disputes amicably, ensuring a neutral environment. Prepare and organize necessary documentation for mediation processes. Guide clients through the mediation process, explaining procedures and options available. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards throughout the mediation. Collaborate with legal professionals when necessary to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Qualifications

Accredited Family Mediator certification (OAFM or FDRIO) Strong mediation and conflict resolution skills Experience in family law and related legal frameworks Ability to facilitate discussions and negotiations effectively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$85.00 per hour
