Position Summary:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and works closely with project managers and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue client invoices and progress billings in alignment with project schedules. Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding accounts, and maintain accurate records. Process payments, apply receipts, and reconcile customer accounts. Communicate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies. Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities. Assist with documentation for insurance, restoration, and construction billing. Maintain organized digital records in accordance with company and audit standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or construction accounting. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience with restoration or insurance billing is a strong asset.
