Accounts Receivable Technician
Job Description
Cansew Inc., a leader in manufacturing and distribution of industrial sewing threads, embroidery threads, elastics and trimmings has a vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Technician; the incumbent will be responsible for the management of accounts receivable, the recording of receipts and the constant follow-up of receivables.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Post receipts transactions related to accounts receivable;
- Verify and reconcile accounts receivable, payments received, invoices and statements;
- Prepare and issue accounts receivable documents, statements and other financial reportings, using computerized systems;
- Execute collection calls;
- As needed, the incumbent will be required to work as a team member with members of other accounting department functions;
- Perform any other related duties.
Requirements:
- Completion of a DEC or AEC in accounting or related field;
- Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office-Excel;
- Good knowledge of French and English, oral and written;
- Experience in a multi-site or multi-company environment (an asset);
- Good communication skills over the phone;
- Rigor, autonomy, resourcefulness and confidentiality;
Compensation:
- Competitive salary, depending on training and experience;
- Located in the Garment district (Montreal).

- Full time position, 40 hours per week.
