Position: Accounts Receivable Technician
Location: NDG, Montreal (Hybrid - 3 days at home and 2 days at the office)
Salary: $48K to $55K (based on experience)
Benefits: 3 weeks of vacation, personal days, insurance plan, etc.
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Accounts Receivable Technician to join their growing team.
Under the supervision of the Credit & Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will be responsible for various operational tasks in the credit and accounts receivable department, mainly the application of payments & the maintenance of customer accounts.
Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Organizational skills and team spirit
- Meticulous, resourceful, and autonomous
- Ability to handle high volume and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual ( english and french) to communicate with clients in the US and outside of Quebec
- Excellent ability with Microsoft Office Suite

Main Responsibilities:

- Open customer accounts in ERP systems
- Be responsible for the maintenance and creation of customer files
- Record payments to customer accounts (checks, EFTs, credit cards)
- Process adjustments to accounts receivable (write-offs, reversals, and other corrections)
- Conduct the month-end process
- Process credit card payments
- Work in close collaboration with the credit team & other cross functional teams
