Accounts Receivable Clerk - Long-term Contract Opportunity located in downtown Toronto, Ontario!

Robert Half is urgently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk for an exciting new role located in downtown Toronto. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is a long-term contract position starting immediately. Please apply today for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Post and record sales from all channels
• Ensure customer collections are maintained in a timely manner by following up with customer contacts, and ensuring all disputes/credits requested are dealt with
• Prepare cash remittance reconciliation with associated banks & posting into Financial Software System.
• Sales invoice posting
• Verification and entry of credit & debit notes submit by customers into system
• Management & tracking of disputes
• Manage customer receivable relationships
• Maintain reconciliation between AR subledger and appropriate General Ledger Accounts in the Microsoft Business Central System
• Verify and enter customer remittances through ACH, wire or cash receipts between the bank and Business Central, and ensure that payments are properly applied & allocated into the business central system. Includes payments made to standard banks as well as Paypal.
• Assist with customer setup & maintenance in Business Central. Includes initial customer information verification requests as well as periodically reaching out to contacts to update any necessary vendor info.
• Preparation of month end accruals
• Preparation of weekly accounts receivables report sent to manager. Includes breakout of receivables for all customers, along with descriptions of any outstanding issues, follow up timings, and any notable cash payments received or expected.

• 1-2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience in a Healthcare setting is highly preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related
