About The Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful applicant will be part of a team of individuals who provide excellent customer service to newspaper subscribers, contractors and distributors by assisting with various administrative functions relating to customer and single copy (dealer) accounts.
Responsibilities include:
Providing superior customer service to customers
Entering new subscribers into databases
Inputting data into multiple subscriber databases
Reviewing and analyzing data to facilitate effective decisions regarding subscriber concerns
Processing of payments via a number of payment methods, types and rate structures. This includes input, collation, documentation, filing and following up with other Administration representatives and related groups and stakeholders
Processing Refunds, Returns & Adjustments on customer accounts
Qualifications include:
3+ years in a service environment with superior customer service skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skill;
Demonstrated data entry/keyboarding skills, with emphasis on speed and accuracy;
Ability to process and prioritize a high volume of work accurately and efficiently;
Proven ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and make decisions based on interpretation of data;
Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing priorities;
Highly organized, able to work independently as well as take direction
Previous experience in the Publishing, Digital or Media industry would be considered assets.
