:Our client in Calgary is currently seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Cash Application Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently applying cash receipts to customer accounts, investigating payment discrepancies, and ensuring timely reconciliation. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, the ability to work under tight timelines, and proficiency in Excel and PDI.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts receivable cash application duties with a focus on accuracy and high volume data entry.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and reconcile differences between received cash and expected amounts.
• Utilize basic Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data for cash reconciliation purposes.
• Work under tight timelines to ensure all cash receipts are applied accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve any cash application issues or discrepancies.
• Adapt quickly to changing processes and procedures, and actively contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with Secure to integrate cash application processes with Dynamics 365, utilizing Excel V-lookups and pivot tables as needed.
• Ad-hoc duties as requested.

Requirements:Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting technician role with a focus on cash application or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in accurate and high volume data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate payment discrepancies.
• Basic Excel skills, including the ability to perform V-lookups and manipulate larger data sets.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and handle the stress of fluctuating workload volumes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with PDI.
• Available to start immediately.
