About the Role



We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Reception professional to support our growing operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both accounting administration and front-office coordination in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also playing a key role in ensuring vendor invoices, payments, and records are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities



Accounts Payable



Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and delivery documentation Ensure approvals are obtained in accordance with internal controls Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs (cheques, EFTs) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized digital and physical AP records Assist with month-end closing and audit support Track GST/PST where applicable and flag anomalies

Reception & Office Support



Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner Greet visitors and manage front-desk operations Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries Maintain office supplies and assist with basic office administration Support accounting, operations, and management teams as needed

Qualifications & Experience



1-3+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting administration Experience in construction, logging, forestry, or resource-based industries is an asset Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Adagio, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
