The famous Mont Gabriel Hotel, a 4-star hotel located atop a mountain in Sainte-Adele, in the Laurentians, offering 136 units across three sections. Following extensive renovations exceeding $25M, our hotel is now part of the Marriott family under the Tribute Portfolio banner and is managed by the Tidan Hospitality Group, headquartered in Montreal.



Hotel Mont Gabriel boasts a wellness center, a restaurant, a bar, an 18-hole golf course, a stunning outdoor spa, and much more! On-site activities are plentiful, including indoor and outdoor pools, volleyball, tennis, golf, basketball, petanque, and shuffleboard. In winter, guests can enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and hiking--right on the property. The hotel also features nearly 12,000 square feet of meeting space, spread across 11 rooms that can accommodate up to 400 guests or 30 exhibition booths!

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Controller, your role will be to manage the full accounts payable cycle. You will also contribute to the accounting department's teamwork by participating in various other related tasks.

Key Duties

Accounts Payable

Validate invoice information Ensure invoices match purchase orders Record transactions in appropriate general ledger accounts Resolve invoice-related issues by communicating with suppliers as needed Monitor payment due dates Reconcile supplier account statements Manage petty cash

Other Tasks

Assist in preparing invoices for group clients Participate in reviewing daily revenues, including deposit preparation Validate transactions from hospitality and food service systems Perform any other related tasks

Qualifications and Skills Required:

College diploma in accounting 3 years of experience in a similar role Experience in hospitality and food service is an asset Proven IT skills Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel), POS systems, and standard accounting software Flexibility and versatility Strong priority management skills Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple files simultaneously, solve problems, and meet deadlines Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and sense of responsibility Energetic with strong team spirit Functional English
