Robert Half Finance & Accounting - Contract Talent is seeking a sharp Accounts Payable Supervisor/Lead for our highly regarded client. The Accounts Payable Supervisor/Lead will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the accounts payable processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the full-cycle accounts payable team.
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, from invoice receipt to payment disbursement.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in the accounts payable process.
- Review and approve payment batches.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely payment processing.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Train and mentor accounts payable staff.
- Continuously seek process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in full-cycle accounts payable.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in either QuickBooks or Sage 300 is required.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance.
- Experience with hybrid work arrangements is a plus.
