This client of Robert Half is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor that will be responsible for managing all accounts payable activities for the company, ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices & maintains accurate records. This is a permanent position located on-site in Richmond Hill.RESPONSIBILITIES:\xc2\xb7 Leadership of all AP matters\xc2\xb7 Ensure payment complies with vendor contract terms\xc2\xb7 Must communicate & follow up effectively with all vendors and employees on a timely basis\xc2\xb7 Provide leadership and guidance to the members of accounts payable team.\xc2\xb7 Work with Purchasing manager & Material manager to obtain approval in a timely manner\xc2\xb7 Prepare monthly AP accrual\'s JE for month end closing\xc2\xb7 Prepare monthly assigned vendor reconciliations\xc2\xb7 Participates in monthly close activities & performs month end reconciliation & AP aging report and trial balance\xc2\xb7 Manages the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable across multiple locations using cheques, ACH, EFT and wire payment method\xc2\xb7 Develop, implement and improve policies and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency\xc2\xb7 Assist with annual audit package\xc2\xb7 5+ years Accounts Payable experience in high volume transactions\xc2\xb7 Grade 12 education, some post secondary courses an asset\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills\xc2\xb7 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details\xc2\xb7 Ability to supervise, coach, mentor, train and evaluate work results\xc2\xb7 Able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in SAP considered an assetRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
