Accounts Payable SupervisorThe Accounts Payable Supervisor will work closely with the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for prioritizing day-to-day functions within the team. Your goal will be to ensure all tasks are met with best practices and completed in a highly efficient and timely manner. The successful candidate will be results-driven, focused on providing solutions, and will demonstrate strong leadership, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Triage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day functions within the Accounts Payable team.xc2xb7 Create payment transactions such as EFT, wires, cheques, on-line bill payments and credit card paymentsxc2xb7 Assist with data entry, validation, and processing of invoices.xc2xb7 Performing audits of AP records to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.xc2xb7 Assist with Month End procedures.xc2xb7 Manage and maintain Master Vendor list.xc2xb7 Assist with Credit applications for new vendors.xc2xb7 Identify areas of improvement to increase efficiencies within AP processes.xc2xb7 Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting AP processes.xc2xb7 Assist with AP KPI tracking.xc2xb7 Assist with audits.xc2xb7 Other duties and special projects as assigned.What We Are Looking For:xc2xb7 Post-secondary education in accounting or related fieldxc2xb7 Three (3) plus years of experience working in a senior accounts payable role handling multiple work assignments simultaneously.xc2xb7 Experience with Business Central would be considered an asset.xc2xb7 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Officexc2xb7 The ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment leveraging excellence in time management, managing conflicting priorities, meet tight deadlines.xc2xb7 Strong written, oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.We thank you for all applications but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
