You can develop your career with a promising Wholesale/Distribution company as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist via Robert Half. Candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The job site for the permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Vaughan, Ontario area. Begin advancing your career with this exciting opportunity.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Conduct full-cycle A/P

- Help with internal and external audits as required

- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Spreadsheet and database capabilities

- EFT Payments experience

- Solid understanding of Coding Invoices

- Command of Enter Invoices

- Process Payments experience

- Experience with Manage Vendor Relationships
