About the Opportunity



We're looking for an

Accounts Payable Reception & Admin Assistant

to join our corporate finance team and help keep our projects running seamlessly behind the scenes.

In this role, you'll ensure vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations are processed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with our project managers, development team, and external partners to maintain smooth financial operations across multiple real estate projects.

What You'll Do



Communicate professionally with vendors and subcontractors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain accurate and organized Accounts Payable records to ensure audit readiness and efficient access to information. Support enhancements to accounting systems and contribute to continuous process improvements within the AP function. Collaborate with accounting and project management teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, respond to vendor calls, and maintain electronic filing in Google Drive. Assist with vendor payment runs, verify banking details for EFTs and wire transfers, and provide support with invoice posting as needed. Provide occasional reception coverage and ensure AP-related Google Sheets are kept up to date.

What You Bring



Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance (experience in real estate development, construction, or property management is an asset) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Eclipse or similar accounting software Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
