Accounts Payable / Payroll
We are looking for the right person to fill our seat responsible for Accounts Payable and for Payroll administration. You will manage both employee payroll and vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all outgoing financial transactions, including processing invoices, calculating and distributing
payments, reconciling ledgers, and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. Key responsibilities involve accurate record-keeping, processing payroll cycles, paying vendors, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to financial reporting and audits.
This role pays between $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 / year depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing: Administer the full payroll cycle, including calculations for wages, benefits, and other payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Vendor Payments: Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, and ensure timely payments to suppliers for goods and services.
Record-Keeping & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including invoices, payroll data, and transaction details, and perform regular reconciliations of ledgers and bank statements.
Tax Compliance: Monitor, collect, and remit payroll taxes, ensuring payments are made on time and in compliance with tax deadlines.
Financial Reporting & Audits: Assist in preparing financial reports and support the year-end audit process by organizing necessary documentation and records.
Liaison & Problem-Solving: Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment or payroll discrepancies and provide information as needed.
Benefits Administration: Coordinate and process payments for employee benefits, such as pensions and health plans, ensuring contributions are accurate.
Qualifications
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.
2. Familiar with Quick Books Online or other accounting software.
3. Accuracy & Attention to Detail: The role requires meticulous data handling to ensure error-free financial transactions.
