We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Head Office. This position is responsible for processing payments and expenditures for our client. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits. Responsibilities: Match purchase orders and packing slips to incoming invoices Code, enter and post all incoming invoices into Syteline (voucher) Follow up and investigate any invoices that are missing documentation or do not have documentation Prepare all vouchered invoices for payment via EFT and online banking Organize and file all paid invoices Match vendor\xe2\x80\x99s statements to paid and vouchered invoices, following up any issues as necessary Prepare credit applications for new vendor accounts Respond to vendor inquiries Provide information to new employees on requirements for invoice payment and processing Balance ledger to GL monthly, including all corresponding reporting Adhere to month end deadlines Prepare GST and PST payments monthly Reconcile some GL working papers Education: \xc2\xb7 Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent \xc2\xb7 Some post-secondary education in Accounting Experience \xc2\xb7 1 \xe2\x80\x93 2 years in experience accounting in payables or receivables in a high-volume environment \xc2\xb7 Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) \xc2\xb7 Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset \xc2\xb7 Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset Other Skills & Abilities \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent administrative and organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently or in a team \xc2\xb7 Customer Service focused \xc2\xb7 Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits:
