WinstonBrock Recruitment, on behalf of our Niagara-based client, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator.Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all invoices and making payments against the invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This position plays a critical role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accounted for and executed according to company policies and compliance with financial regulations.What our client offers:

  • $45,000 - $53,500 annually

You will make your impact by:
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices and cheque requests
  • Sorting, coding, and matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Entering invoices into the system for payment and manage the payment process
  • Tracking expenses and processing expense reports
  • Preparing and performing payment runs
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Corresponding with vendors and responding to inquiries
  • Producing monthly reports and assisting with month-end closing
  • Maintaining accurate historical records
  • Providing supporting documentation for audits
You are a great fit if you:
  • Possess a certificate/diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
  • Have experience in the manufacturing industry and possess US currency experience
  • Are proficient in data entry and data management
  • Have solid understanding and working knowledge of financial software and systems
  • Understand internal control systems in a corporate environment
  • Are motivated by learning and have exhibit a growth mindset
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Exhibit the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Are knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures
