The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.
What you get to do every single day
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Carry out a full-cycle A/P
- Execute additional tasks as needed
- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Requirements
A Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Coding Invoices
- Knowledge of Enter Invoices
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
