For its headquarters and under the responsibility of the Regional Controller, Techo-Bloc wishes to hire an accounts payable clerk. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with the Finance team and will perform Canadian invoice registration activities. He will have to perform the following tasks:
  • Perform validation and verification of invoices;
  • Register invoices in the Dynamics AX computer system;
  • Proceed to invoicing with the right support documents such as delivery notes;
  • Validate the accounts of suppliers, and validate credit notes;
  • Sort and file documents (invoice, check stub, approval sheet);
  • Prepare the opening of a new supplier account;
  • Validate GST/QST & HST numbers of vendors on an annual basis;
  • Validate annual agreements and special agreements;
  • Have invoices without PO’s approved;
  • Validate contracts;
  • Ensure that transportation is capitalized on inventory items;
  • Recognize tax-eligible expenditures (100%, 50%, 0%);
  • Make payments according to suppliers' payment terms (EFT, Wires, Checks, Credit Card);
  • Obtain adequate signatures for multiple payment types;
  • Track outstanding payments, and payment advances;
  • Follow the Unbilled receptions report;
  • Record credit card expenses, make payments and ensure compliance with expense account policies;
  • Perform other related duties.


Qualifications
  • College diploma in administration, accounting or the equivalent;
  • Versatility;
  • Bilingualism (English and French, both spoken and written);
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships;
  • Organization and structure;
  • Rigor and attention to detail;
  • Proactivity and autonomy;
  • Excellent judgment and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Good command of Excel software;
  • Experience with Integrated Management Software (ERP) is an asset.
