Cask disrupted the craft beer industry by introducing the first small-scale canning system for craft beverage makers. For over 20 years, Cask continues to innovate affordable canning solutions so our customers can get their products into more hands. Aluminum cans are infinitely recyclable! Working at Cask Global Canning Solutions This is a full-time, permanent role based in Calgary, AB with a competitive salary based on experience. We take an employee-first approach to team building. Professional development and promoting from within is critical to building the future generation of innovators at Cask. Specific Duties:
  • Code invoices and distribute to authorized approvers.
  • Create batches of AP invoices in Sage for review and posting.
  • Perform three-way match and postings (packing slips/receiving slips/invoice) for MiSys invoices.
  • Create electronic payment batches and provide for set up in online banking.
  • Create cheque runs through providing cheques and supporting documents for signature.
  • Ensure that staff expenses are processed and paid in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile AP clearing accounts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain supplier account reconciliations and be ready to deliver awesome customer service when required.
  • Take ownership of supplier relationships by identifying issues and working through resolutions, involving other members of the Cask team if necessary.
  • Create adjustments as required (vendor returns).
  • Work closely with procurement in monitoring supplier balances, and payment terms.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
  • Intermediate level expertise with MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong communication skills are essential as this role will be working with all cross-sections of the organization.
  • Experience with Sage 300 is considered an asset.
