The Position:



To facilitate and accurately process all accounts payables in a timely fashion ensuring the Company is able to take advantage of available discounts and meet other financial obligations.

Key Responsibilities:



Accounts Payable

Timely processing, verifying and reconciling of invoices. Expense report processing and ensure reports comply with the expense policies.

Reports & Data Maintenance

Maintain accurate records of supplier statements. Assist in expense claim processing and ensure expense claims comply with the expense policies. Provide backup within AP group.

Communication & Administration

Proactively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients for due accounts/payment discrepancies and with employees for expense claim processing. Ensure clear and concise communications with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure cooperation with special projects as required and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:



Education and Experience

Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent. Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of related experience.

Specialized Skill or Knowledge

Ability to work independently. Experience with and working knowledge of ERP systems. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup functions. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties

Ability to work long periods of concentration. Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of accounting. Bondable.

Working Conditions

Office setting Occasional interruptions Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to full fill job responsibilities.
