Job Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our friendly team on a part-time (Mon/Wed/Fri) basis and for a 3-month contract term. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, from invoicing to payment processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on a timely basis
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Conduct data entry tasks using Yardi software
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
