Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Accounts Assistant to join our finance department by handling daily transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, processing invoices, assisting with payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records and digital files, ensuring compliance and supporting reporting needs for accountants and managers.

Core Responsibilities



Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Processing vendor invoices, paying bills, sending customer invoices, and tracking payments.

Data Entry & Record Keeping:

Accurately entering financial transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining organized digital and physical financial records.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconciling bank statements and monitoring transactions for discrepancies, as noted in this job description.

Financial Reporting Support:

Assisting with preparing financial reports, budgets, and month-end/year-end closing processes.

Expense Management:

Processing expense claims and reimbursement forms.

Payroll Assistance:

Supporting payroll processing, including verifying hours and deductions.

Other Duties



Handling customer and vendor inquiries. Filing, photocopying, and performing general administrative tasks. Assisting with audits and fact-checking. Ensuring confidentiality of financial data.

Skills



Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks and XPERT)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
