Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Accountant in daily tasks
- Participate in the accounting cycle for multiple companies
- Gather supporting documents for bank statements and credit cards
- Conduct bank reconciliations for all entities
- Manage credit card expenses for all companies and operations
- Contribute to expense re-billing
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Analyze transactions and make necessary corrections
- Perform any other related tasks as required
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the accounting cycle
- Experience in multi-company accounting (strongly preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (mandatory)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Avantage software (an asset)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, versatility, rigour, and attention to detail
- Good judgment and absolute respect for confidentiality
- Ability to work quickly, independently or in a team, and meet tight deadlines
