Enerquin is currently seeking an Accounting Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting duties, including payroll and accounts payable. Duties and responsibilities: Payroll: Responsible for US payroll and all corresponding reports.

• Process timesheets and prepare payroll
• Prepare corresponding monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Accounts Payable: Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable for both Canadian and US operations.

• Receive and sort vendor purchase orders and invoices
• Ensure all payables are up to date and coded accurately
• Match supporting documents
• Data entry in the ERP system
• Responsible for weekly vendor payments.

General Accounting: Assist Controller in other general duties.

• Process journal entries
• GST/QST filings.

The requirements and profile of the Accounting Technician include:

• Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting
• Bilingual in English/French (spoken and written)
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work in Canada
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and shows a sense of responsibility
• Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and work with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
