Position: Accounting Technician
Location: Downtown Montreal
Salary: $70,000 (Based on experience)

Qualifications:

- College or Bachelor\'s Degree in accounting or relevant experience
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bilingual to communicate with the head office in the USA
- Ability to work under a multi-company structure
- Team and service-oriented
- Organized and attentive to detail
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel

Main Responsibilities:

- Monthly bank reconciliations for various legal entities
- Periodic GST/PST filings for various legal entities
- Cheque, bank wires, and payments preparation (A/P cycle)
- Daily verification/reconciliation and maintenance of investment portfolio transactions on software platform
- Assistance with monthly reconciliation of all brokerage accounts in the investment portfolio
- Assistance with monthly accruals and journal entries for closing of GL and books
