POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Controller, the Account Supervisor will manage and perform duties of our Accounting section; lead and oversee financial activities. We are looking for someone who will serve as a leading member of our team, supervising accounting staff while being responsible for their task and training. You will be responsible for Agency program support, financial reporting, Billings and receivables, cash monitoring, disbursements and payables, fixed asset calculation, year-end procedures, budgeting and forecasting. We are looking for someone who is able to communicate, manage task, lead team and resources to meet strict deadlines while working in a high demanding environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise Accounting Staff Accountant, A/R Administrator, A/P Administrator, Finance Clerk
  • Overseeing some of the daily accounting operations and making sure that month end deadline is met
  • Manage daily cash flow weekly
  • Manage receipt of inflow
  • Ensure invoicing to agencies
  • Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation from different banks/financial institutions
  • The Link Credit Card Administrator
  • Journal Entries, Bank Entries, Bank Transfer
  • Covering for accounting staff if away
  • Create Financial Report for refund for discharged ILS Youth.
  • Support coaching and training needs for the accounting team if needed
Experience
  • Three to five years of experience in non-profit financial management or other sector
  • Accounting unit/department supervisory experience/ Team Management
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports for management/board
  • Working with Sage 300 or other accounting software applications; Computer experiences with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience training teams, with demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities (preferred).
  • Planning, setting up and administration of accounting systems and prepare financial information as requested
  • Experience working in a face paced environment with demanding request and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Experience in examining and analyzing journal and ledger entries, bank statements, inventories, expenditures, tax returns and other accounting and financial records to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Accounting designation (CA/CMA/CGA or equivalent)
  • Computer experience Microsoft Office (excel), simply Accounting or ACCPAC
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
