Robert Half is working with a client to hire an Accounting Supervisor as a key member of their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who brings hands-on experience in job costing and inventory management. This exciting opportunity will allow you to step into a supervisory role and have a direct impact on the company's financial operations.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting functions related to costing and inventory processes for manufacturing operations
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Monitor inventory reporting and costing metrics to identify discrepancies and optimize processes
• Analyze job costing for manufacturing projects and help ensure profitability while maintaining compliance with company policy and financial regulations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to align accounting functions with the organization's strategic goals
• Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of job costing systems, inventory control, and manufacturing processes is required
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Proven communication and leadership skills
