Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. (TTCI) located in Woodstock has an immediate opening for a full-time opportunity (Contract) for the position of Accounting Specialist II.
This position is responsible for providing financial solutions and analysis to the Corporate Accounting function and various business units.
Responsible for General Ledger management, including but not limited to:
Calculate and prepare journal entries as required
Complete monthly general ledger account reconciliations
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies
Support financial audits, perform new vendor setups, and maintain lease and tax records
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes along with quarterly and annual reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
Support annual budget process with year over year analysis
Day to day review and approval of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable batches
Coordinate internal and external audit preparation, including working with auditors and ensuring all backup requested is provided
Ensure internal and external customer questions and problems are resolved in a timely, professional manner
Perform daily accounting transactions as required in ERP system (JD Edwards, Enterprise 1)
Resolve JDE E1 issues with IT as they arise
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects
