POSITION :

We are seeking an experienced

Accounting specialist

to join our team at our Toronto branch in Mississauga Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITY:

- Maintains the company's accounting records, including cheque preparation, invoice payments, deposit handling, journal entries, and daily bank reconciliations.

- Reconciles the accounts payable ledger, ensuring that all bills and payments are accurately recorded and posted.

- Prepares GST/HST tax returns using OPUS.

- Uploads in OPUS regarding the employees' payrolls.

- Prepares and analyzes accounts receivable and accounts payable aging reports.

- Handles other ad hoc assignments such as processing bank deposits, disbursements, expense vouchers, and managing accounts payable and receivable transactions (including e-transfer, EFT, wire transfer, and cheque issuance).

QUALIFICATION:

- Experience in related accounting tasks (preferred)

- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field

- Fluency in both English and Korean

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
