Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing Certified Public Accounting firm, seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their leadership team. This is a position offering an opportunity to work closely with firm partners and a collaborative staff to deliver high-quality service to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee accounting projects and client engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and deadlines
- Supervise, mentor, and train accountants, reviewing workpapers and guiding professional development
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for clients
- Manage client relationships by addressing questions and providing expert advice on accounting and tax matters
- Assist with ongoing process improvements and help implement best practices across the firm
- Support audit and tax teams on complex projects as needed
- Ensure firm policies and procedures are adhered to in all client engagements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting standards
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software
- Strong organizational and client service skills, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
