Accounting Manager

Job Description
A successful local real estates company has a great opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join their finance team. You will be Reporting into the CFO, the Accounting Manager will assist the CFO with a range of accounting, tax, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting responsibilities, with a focus on reviewing financial reports and directing accounting staff.
- Assisting with income tax working paper preparation, simple tax return preparation using TaxPrep, and reviewing tax returns prepared by others on the finance team.
- Assisting with yearend audit and internal control design.
- Other special projects assigned including accounting and tax research.
- Review of Financial Statements
- 3+ years minimum hands-on experience performing accounting responsibilities and income tax return + working paper preparation is a must.
- Public practice experience
- Experience with Yardi and TaxPrep preferred.
- Designated CPA preferred,
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
