Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing all aspects of a company's financial records and overseeing the accounting operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is essential.

Please note that Excel proficiency will be tested as part of the interview process.



Key Responsibilities:



General Ledger Management:

Effectively manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Month-End and Daily Accounting Processes:

Ensure timely completion of all daily and month-end accounting tasks, including prepaids, accruals, amortizations, recharges for all CReATe clinics.

Journal Entry Review:

Review (and sometimes post) journal entries prepared by junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Reconciliation Management

: Perform monthly reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts incl. bank accounts, receivables, deferred revenue.

Intercompany Billing and Reconciliations:

Manage intercompany transactions, billing, and reconciliations across all CReATe clinics.

Trial Balance Review and Variance Analysis:

Conduct monthly reviews of the trial balances and perform variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.

Accounts Payable and Receivables Oversight

: Ensure accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.

Year-End Financial Statements:

Act as the liaison with external accountants, managing the year-end financial statement preparation and audit processes.

Budget Management:

Help establish organization's annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create accurate and realistic financial projections.

Additional Accounting and Administrative Tasks:

Perform other office and accounting administration duties as assigned, contributing to the efficiency and smooth operation of the finance department.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree

in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory);

CPA

designation (strongly preferred)

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in accounting with prior experience managing the full accounting cycle.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.



Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). (Excel testing will be part of the recruitment process.)

Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Prioritization and Deadline Management: Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
