About the Opportunity

We have partnered with our valued client, a private, growing, and entrepreneurial organization to help them find a new Accounting Manager.

This is an energetic, well managed group and they like to give employees a lot of independence and autonomy.

This is a newly created role.

Duties include;

• Full cycle accounting - helping manage the day to day
• Balancing of general ledger and management reporting
• Update and maintain accounting and reporting systems
• Supervise the Intermediate Accountant
• Working knowledge and experience with cash management
• Improve and make recommendations on process and procedures
• Support and prepare annual financial statements
• Complete yearly tax returns and tax payments
• Timely preparation, organizing and filing of government reports
• Developing working paper audit files
• Prepare annual business plans and financial forecasts
• Support to the CFO and overall \'go to\' for the team

About You

• Designated CPA (CA, CMA, CGA)
• Minimum 5+ years experience
• Ideally 1+ in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Making presentations on financial results to Senior Managers
• Some working knowledge of tax, audit, legal entities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Responsible for the big picture and able to work autonomously

About the Job

• Healthy base salary $ - commensurate with years\' experience
• $100,000 - $110,000 base salary
